What, no Palin comments? No comments regarding my speach? Did you see me? I was great. Just spectacular.

But dude, I figured that's where you were. I seem to remember you saying the Newsweek gig was starting in September, and since it's the beginning of September and you weren't around, you must have been working a bit.

For all the good insight you may have shown in the past your first Newsweek piece is a badly executed, factually wrong hit job. For once I have to agree with Ryan Block's assessment.

Dan, we all understand this blog is pro bono, FSJ was a bit about Bono, and that Newsweek brings bread & butter to your table. We all know that. What happened to the insight in each post?

Couple of examples of what you have missed:

Have you heard about the new 3D processor from IBM cooled by water?

Have you heard about the new 3D interface designed for Audi's consoles?

Have you heard about some new features in OS X Leopard, like ability to use GPUs?

None of these were even mentioned on your blog. And there a tons of others.

Well, fine, Apple is starting to look like Microsoft, and Microsoft looks like IBM. Big discovery. Let me get my notepad and sticky notes, no screw the sticky notes, I will get my chisel to write that down and never forget such illuminating insight.

Maybe I am wrong, but a tech blogger should suck in a lot about technology and deliver it in a readable format. Lately, I have been scouring sites myself for readable stuff to read and, yes, it takes a bit of work to find all that but then that's the job, isn't it?
