Well, when I was in college, I first saw a Mac. I had never seen anything with a mouse before -- it was the most amazing thing! And a trashcan -- what a concept! Years later, I first got an iPod and that was an epic day. Synchronizing something with my PC made me feel so warm and fuzzy inside.

Facebook? I prefer MySpace myself, because I love glitter graphics so much!

MobileMe must be epic because you can synchronize it with EVERYTHING. And synchronizing things feels so good, even if it's done badly.

MobileMe blows chunks. Big disappointment. I'll stick with gmail and google calendar for the time being. They both have decent iPhone interfaces.

I have read a lot of scathing comments about Mobile Me - but not a whole lot about the Exchange integration. Is the Microsoft side of "push" and "sync" actually working better than the Apple side?

This mobile me debacle actually has me looking at hosted exchange services instead of Mobile me (yuck - I feel dirty). Not only do I get the push - I get to use MY OWN e-mail addres...hmmm feels like I am in bizzaro world.

I second that emotion, Goat-boy. MobileMe is absurd, and there was NO NEED for it (that I can glean). Jeeeeeeeez, Applettes (yes, I'm calling you girly-men ... or li'l apple drones, or ...).

My late hubby made an Apple biter out of me, and now you couldn't get me to stop for a Vista with love or money. But I'll humbly admit I am not tech-smart and do not take full advantage of my 2004 iBookG4. (I don't watch video, but I do use iTunes, having bought my first iPod last week! It's a 2nd generation nano, but I got it new in box from redsavings.com, only to learn that its warranty expired the day I received it.)

Though I do have MacAir lust, I can't justify an upgrade ... but MobileMe has made me wonder whether the Big A is getting wormy. The only other BAD experience I've had with Apple products was its One-in-One program, under which each time I went for a class I got a different trainer who did things differently and confused the bejesus outta me (not that I had any in me, but ...)

The so-called geniuses (NOT!) "fixed" my laptop twice when it got confused between late hubby Bill's network setup and Applpated Annie's confusarama after going solo. The "fix" was supposedly to wipe my hard drive clean and reinstall the Apple software. Not only did I lose a whole lotta data, but the laptop still houses many GBs of Bill's stuff -- happily including a lot of music, hence the iPod. But lots of graphics and old apps, too, that I neither need nor want. No practical way to separate the wheat from the chaff, it seems ...

ANYWAY, take my MobileMe, puh-leeeeeeeeeeeze! It's not me, it's YOU, ya big fruit (and I'm not referring to either Dan or Goat-boy).

Goatberg is the biggest sack of ****.

I'd love his job - do nothing constructive and just criticize other people. How easy's that?
